It’s a little chilly in Room 11!

Last week we turned our thoughts towards Antarctica…learning about emperor penguins! We were fascinated by their interesting life cycle and the different roles that mum and dad adopt! Using sponges, we printed these p,p,p,p…perfect penguins! Today, our resident artist (and saint!!) Ms McGrath helped us to make igloos for our feathered friends, using clay! We had to roll, flatten and mould our clay, before using tools to draw ice-bricks! When these are dry, we’ll paint and take these home! A huge thank you to Ms McGrath…what would we do without her!
